Pathology
Megaprepuce is a condition in which the prepuce, the fold of skin that covers the glans of the penis, is excessively long and cannot be fully retracted. This condition can cause discomfort and hygiene issues.
Symptoms
- Inability to fully retract the prepuce: The prepuce cannot be pulled back completely, making it difficult to fully expose the glans.
- Difficulty with hygiene: Due to the restriction in prepuce retraction, it can be challenging to clean the glans properly, increasing the risk of infections or inflammations.
- Discomfort during sexual intercourse: Megaprepuce can cause pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse, as the prepuce may be stretched or put under pressure.
Treatment
To understand the most appropriate treatment for megaprepuce, it is advisable to schedule an appointment with Professor Christian Gozzi for a specialist consultation.
